Wendy was born in Zimbabwe and met her American husband while he was on a motorcycle trip through Africa. They married, lived in Hong Kong, and have three beautiful grown children. She published a memoir about growing up in Africa and loves painting, cooking, and gardening. Feldenkrais is the culmination of a lifelong interest in mindfulness and somatic education.
