After receiving a mechanical engineering degree in Turin, Italy, Valentina Vallinotto began her career as a math and physics teacher. She worked for several years as a project manager and tech manual editor, then moved to Google, where she was a certified change and training manager. She still loves to keep her skills up-to-date working as an IT consultant and change management consultant.
Building on her 30 year of experience traveling in Africa and overland, she founded v-adventures, along with her husband Antonio, an adventure travel company. She plans, manages the operations and often guides off-the-beaten-track trips.
