Dates:3/10/2026
Meeting Times

Description
This workshop will introduce you to native meadow plants, both grasses and herbaceous perennials, that are beneficial for pollinators, are mostly deer resistant, and look beautiful. We will teach you how to put together a planting plan and then you can create a plan for your own yard. Join Jay Petrow, the owner and principal designer of Petrow Gardens Landscape Design, who is also an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden School of Horticulture, for this enlightening evening.
Jay Petrow, the owner and principal designer of Petrow Gardens, is a former magazine art director who studied at the New York Botanical Garden Landscape Design Program. Jay’s creative vision, coupled with his horticultural knowledge, produces extraordinary landscapes for his clients.
Jay is currently an instructor at the New York Botanical Garden School of Horticulture and is formerly the Vice President of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, APLD CT.
