Students will learn how to safely use the wood lab to create a customized cutting board made from different hardwoods. They will also have the chance to create a holiday project, a small bathroom/hallway cubby. Depending on the time, they will have the opportunity to make a beautiful pen that they will turn on a pen lathe.

Alison Stephens has been teaching Technology Education in Connecticut for the last 14 years. For most of that time she has taught a large amount of woodshop/hands on problem solving with emphasis on safety and good measurement skills. In addition to working with wood she loves to hike with her dogs, travel, and take lots of photos.
