Description

This class is for anyone with an interest in painting with acrylics, no experience required! In each session, explore and recreate a different masterpiece from artists such as (but not limited to) Vincent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet. Students will learn how to mix paint colors from specific primary colors to uncover a unique and personal color palette. The goal is to relax and enjoy the process of self-discovery while replicating the “impression” of a masterpiece, rather than making an exact duplicate. A materials list is available below.

Supply List:

Acrylic paint in titanium white, burnt Sienna, phthalocyanine blue, alizarin crimson and cadmium yellow medium
Palette paper
Disposable water cup
Approximately 3 round or flat brushes in small medium and large.
Stretched canvas or canvas panel preferably 16” x 20” but 14” x 17” or 11” x  14” also work well
